Water Therapy
Cozy Inn Pet Resort offers rehabilitative canine swim, hot tub, walk and massage therapy.
Water therapy can help with pain relief to certain ailments by encouraging full range of joint motion. Water therapy can help the pet recover from surgery & can decrease surgical recover time, increase flexibility, encourages weight reduction, helps with conditions such as paralysis, weakness in muscles, abnormal gait, pain, inflammation, arthritis, orthopedic injury & cardiovascular health. This can overall prolong and improve your pets' quality of life. Our skilled pet technicians in this department will work with your veterinarian and/or orthopedic specialist to aid in your pet's recovery from surgery & accidents and to soothe arthritic conditions, hip dysplasia, weight loss, etc.
Like humans, the exercise that swimming provides an animal is unique in that it allows nearly every muscle in the body to be stimulated without a resistance element causing potential injury. Swimming and regular exposure to water can be very beneficial to your dog's long term health and fitness.
We have a large pool as well as a whirlpool hot tub available for our therapy sessions. We require your vet to complete our therapy form so that we can stay on track with their treatment plan. We are not veterinarians; we have the capability to facilitate water therapy via a veterinarian's guidelines.
Post swim, you can coordinate grooming services or a 15-minute blow dry, if needed at additional price.
We take great pride in watching the incredible recoveries our guests have made during their sessions with us. We invite you to call today to talk to one of our staff members to see if water therapy is the right option for your pet.
